1. HOW QUICKLY WILL YOU PROCESS AND SHIP MY ORDER?
(a) If it is your first order with us, please avoid any delays in order processing by ensuring that your Billing Information matches exactly with the info your credit card provider has on file for you. In other words, your Billing Name, Address and Tel # must be a precise match to the info that Visa, MC or AmEx has for your account. If you have ordered from us previously then you do not have to worry about this -- since you will already be verified in our system.
(b) Order processing usually takes just a few hours and delivery time will depend on your location: for example, 1-2 business days in Ontario and 4-6 business days to BC. Please see our Shipping Times page for details or contact us if you are unsure whether we can meet your deadline. Rush shipping is available in some instances.
2. IS IT BETTER TO SHIP TO MY HOME OR WORKPLACE?
(a) If your order contains 'Dangerous Goods' (i.e. Fireworks, Smoke Grenades or Sparklers) then it cannot just be left at your doorstep. A signature of someone 18+ years of ago is required for delivery. If no one is likely to be home during business hours then you may be better off to ship to your work address (Note: if you are on a tight timeline, delivering to your workplace may well be the best option for you - since deliveries to business addresses are typically faster than residential deliveries).
(b) Another option is that we can ship to a local Hold-for-Pick-Up location, typically within a few km of your home. Note that, if you order to your Home address and miss the courier delivery attempt, Purolator will leave a Notice at your door to pick up from their local office.
3. HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO SPEND TO GET FREE DELIVERY?
We offer FREE Delivery across Canada starting at $99+ for Non-Pyrotechnic Orders and from $150+ for Fireworks/Pyrotechnics Orders (see SHIPPING METHODS below for further details). If your order does not qualify for free shipping then there will be a small extra fee for delivery. This fee is variable depending on whether the delivery contains Fireworks/Pyrotechnics or not. The easiest way to determine delivery costs (if applicable) is to enter your postal code in the shipping calculator on our Shopping Cart page after you have selected your items. You can also check our Shipping Rates page for details. Note: additional charges may apply to NL, NT, YT, Beyond Points or Ferry Destinations--we will contact you if applicable.
4. WHICH SHIPPING METHOD DO I CHOOSE?
» CANADA (DG): Use this option if your order contains ONE OR MORE Fireworks, Sparklers or Smoke Grenades. Note that 18G & 60G Smoke Emitters and Colour Smoke Cannons are NOT considered Dangerous Goods. The DG Shipping fee (if applicable) includes the carrier's Dangerous Goods surcharge.
» CANADA (NON-DG): Use this option if your order contains NO Fireworks, Sparklers or Smoke Grenades. This category allows 18G & 60G Smoke Emitters, Colour Smoke Cannons, Firing Systems & Accessories (incl Talon Igniter Clips), Sky Lanterns, Glow/LED & Confetti items, Bomb Bags and Smell Bombs.
» USA SHIPPING: We do NOT ship Fireworks, Sparklers or Smoke Grenades to the USA. US Shoppers can order any item in the NON-DG Category
» PICK UP ORDER AT STORE: Pick up your order at our Flagship location, 14 Advance Rd in Toronto (Etobicoke)
5. DO YOU GUARANTEE SHIPPING TIMES?
Although our deliveries are nearly always on time, carriers do not guarantee transit times for Dangerous Goods shipments outside Toronto. If for any reason your shipment is delayed in transit, we will do our utmost to assist and to get it back on track. However, we shall not be held responsible for orders that arrive later than expected and we shall not refund them or accept any returns. 9.5 times out of 10, you will receive your delivery exactly as planned. But please be aware that, if you order right at the deadline, there is some risk on your part. We wish we could control everything in the universe, but we are not quite there yet!
6. GIVE US THE INFO WE NEED TO DELIVER YOUR ORDER PROMPTLY!
(a) If you have an Unit #, Apt # or Entry Code, please be sure to provide these details in your order.
(b) If we are delivering to your workplace, please be certain to provide your Company Name.
(c) We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes: we require a physical address for delivery. If you are unable to provide an alternative address then we can direct your package to a nearby Hold-for-Pick-Up location.
7. HOW DO THE BONUS REWARDS ITEMS FOR ONLINE ORDERS WORK?
We offer Bonus Fireworks Rewards for Online Orders: get FREE items with your Fireworks purchase! Please note that the value of the free goods you will receive is based on your order subtotal and does not include tax. Also, you may notice that your bonus items will not show up in your shopping cart--but, don't worry, they will be added when we pack your order! There are certain Packages that are not eligible for Bonus Rewards because they are on special discounts or deals: this will be noted clearly in the package description page. Rocket.ca reserves the right to substitute items of equal value for the bonus rewards items in the event of limited stock.
