This is mainly because parents give Sparklers to young children who are not sufficiently mature to understand the dangers these devices can present. Sparklers burn at high temperatures and remain hot well after they are extinguished: used improperly, they can damage clothing or skin. Children should use Sparklers only under careful adult instruction and supervision. Sparklers are not recommended for children under 8 years old.
RECOMMENDED FOR OUTDOOR USE. Sparklers can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, we do not recommend indoor use on carpeted or otherwise flammable surfaces.
